17 These are a shadow(A) of what was to come;(B) the substance is[a] Christ.(C) 18 Let no one condemn[b] you(D) by delighting in ascetic practices(E) and the worship of angels, claiming access to a visionary realm. Such people are inflated(F) by empty notions of their unspiritual[c] mind. 19 They don’t hold on to the head, from whom the whole body,(G) nourished and held together by its ligaments and tendons, grows with growth from God.
