Then I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river. He raised his right hand and his left hand to heaven and swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time, and then, when the rejection of the holy people is finished, all these things will be finished.[a]

I myself heard, but I did not understand. So I said, “Lord, what will be the end result of these things?”

He said:

Go, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.

I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?”

He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed(F) until the time of the end.(G)
