Daniel 4:26-28

26 And in that they said to (A)leave the stump [a]with the roots of the tree, your kingdom will endure for you after you know that it is (B)Heaven that rules with power. 27 Therefore, O king, may my (C)advice seem good to you: [b](D)break away now from your sins by doing righteousness and from your iniquities by (E)showing mercy to the poor, in case there may be a (F)prolonging of your prosperity.’

28 “All this (G)reached Nebuchadnezzar the king.

New International Version
26 The command to leave the stump of the tree with its roots(A) means that your kingdom will be restored to you when you acknowledge that Heaven rules.(B) 27 Therefore, Your Majesty, be pleased to accept my advice: Renounce your sins by doing what is right, and your wickedness by being kind to the oppressed.(C) It may be that then your prosperity(D) will continue.(E)”
