Daniel 4:26-28

26 As it was commanded to leave the stump and roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be re-established for you from the time that you learn that Heaven is sovereign. 27 Therefore, O king, may my counsel be acceptable to you: atone for[a] your sins with righteousness, and your iniquities with mercy to the oppressed, so that your prosperity may be prolonged.”

26 The command to leave the stump of the tree with its roots(A) means that your kingdom will be restored to you when you acknowledge that Heaven rules.(B) 27 Therefore, Your Majesty, be pleased to accept my advice: Renounce your sins by doing what is right, and your wickedness by being kind to the oppressed.(C) It may be that then your prosperity(D) will continue.(E)”
