33 At the same time my sense returned to me, and I came to the honour and glory of my kingdom: and my shape returned to me: and my nobles, and my magistrates sought for me, and I was restored to my kingdom: and greater majesty was added to me.

34 Therefore I Nabuchodonosor do now praise, and magnify, and glorify the King of heaven: because all his works are true, and his ways judgments, and them that walk in pride he is able to abase.

33 Immediately what had been said about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven away from people and ate grass like the ox. His body was drenched(A) with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird.(B)

34 At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity(C) was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever.(D)

His dominion is an eternal dominion;
    his kingdom(E) endures from generation to generation.(F)
35 All the peoples of the earth
    are regarded as nothing.(G)
He does as he pleases(H)
    with the powers of heaven
    and the peoples of the earth.
No one can hold back(I) his hand(J)
    or say to him: “What have you done?”(K)
