Daniel 5:7-9
Good News Translation
7 He shouted for someone to bring in the magicians, wizards, and astrologers. When they came in, the king said to them, “Anyone who can read this writing and tell me what it means will be dressed in robes of royal purple, wear a gold chain of honor around his neck, and be the third in power in the kingdom.” 8 The royal advisers came forward, but none of them could read the writing or tell the king what it meant. 9 In his distress King Belshazzar grew even paler, and his noblemen had no idea what to do.

New International Version
7 The king summoned the enchanters,(A) astrologers[a](B) and diviners.(C) Then he said to these wise(D) men of Babylon, “Whoever reads this writing and tells me what it means will be clothed in purple and have a gold chain placed around his neck,(E) and he will be made the third(F) highest ruler in the kingdom.”(G)
8 Then all the king’s wise men(H) came in, but they could not read the writing or tell the king what it meant.(I) 9 So King Belshazzar became even more terrified(J) and his face grew more pale. His nobles were baffled.
