24 The ten horns are ten kings that will rise to power from that kingdom. Another king will rise to power after them. He will be different from the kings who came before him, and he will humble three kings. 25 He will speak against the Elyonin, oppress the holy people of the Illah-ah, and plan to change the appointed times and laws. The holy people will be handed over to him for a time, times, and half of a time. 26 But judgment will be handed down, his power will be taken away, and he will be completely and permanently destroyed.

After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. 25 He will speak against the Most High(B) and oppress his holy people(C) and try to change the set times(D) and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.[a](E)

26 “‘But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed(F) forever.
