[a] 26 But the court will sit and he will be stripped of his power to be destroyed and abolished for all time. 27 Then the kingdom, power, and greatness of the kingdoms under all heaven will be given to the people of the kedoshim of the Most High.[b] Their kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions will serve and obey him.’

28 This is the conclusion of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts greatly troubled me and the color drained from my face. But I kept the matter in my heart.”

26 “‘But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed(A) forever. 27 Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms(B) under heaven will be handed over to the holy people(C) of the Most High.(D) His kingdom will be an everlasting(E) kingdom, and all rulers will worship(F) and obey him.’

28 “This is the end of the matter. I, Daniel, was deeply troubled(G) by my thoughts,(H) and my face turned pale,(I) but I kept the matter to myself.”
