17 “As he approached where I was standing, I became terrified and fell on my face. But he told me, ‘Son of man, understand that the vision pertains to the time of the end.’
18 “While he had been speaking with me, I had fainted[a] on my face, but he touched me and enabled me to stand upright on my feet. 19 Then he said,
‘Pay attention! I’m going to brief you about what will happen at the end of the period of wrath, because its end is appointed.

17 As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate.(A) “Son of man,”[a] he said to me, “understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.”(B)
18 While he was speaking to me, I was in a deep sleep, with my face to the ground.(C) Then he touched me and raised me to my feet.(D)
19 He said: “I am going to tell you what will happen later in the time of wrath,(E) because the vision concerns the appointed time(F) of the end.[b](G)
