25 “Through(A) his cunning
He shall cause deceit to prosper under his [a]rule;
(B)And he shall exalt himself in his heart.
He shall destroy many in their prosperity.
(C)He shall even rise against the Prince of princes;
But he shall be (D)broken without human [b]means.

26 “And the vision of the evenings and mornings
Which was told is true;
(E)Therefore seal up the vision,
For it refers to many days in the future.

27 (F)And I, Daniel, fainted and was sick for days; afterward I arose and went about the king’s business. I was [c]astonished by the vision, but no one understood it.

25 He will cause deceit(A) to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes.(B) Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power.(C)

26 “The vision of the evenings and mornings that has been given you is true,(D) but seal(E) up the vision, for it concerns the distant future.”(F)

27 I, Daniel, was worn out. I lay exhausted(G) for several days. Then I got up and went about the king’s business.(H) I was appalled(I) by the vision; it was beyond understanding.
