13 (A)As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this calamity has come upon us; yet we have not entreated the favour of the Lord our God, (B)turning from our iniquities and gaining insight by your truth. 14 (C)Therefore the Lord has kept ready the calamity and has brought it upon us, (D)for the Lord our God is righteous in all the works that he has done, and (E)we have not obeyed his voice. 15 And now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of the land of Egypt (F)with a mighty hand, and (G)have made a name for yourself, as at this day, (H)we have sinned, we have done wickedly.

13 Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord(A) our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth.(B) 14 The Lord did not hesitate to bring the disaster(C) on us, for the Lord our God is righteous in everything he does;(D) yet we have not obeyed him.(E)
15 “Now, Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand(F) and who made for yourself a name(G) that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong.
