Good News Translation
13 giving us all the punishment described in the Law of Moses. But even now, O Lord our God, we have not tried to please you by turning from our sins or by following your truth. 14 You, O Lord our God, were prepared to punish us, and you did, because you always do what is right, and we did not listen to you.
15 (A)“O Lord our God, you showed your power by bringing your people out of Egypt, and your power is still remembered. We have sinned; we have done wrong.

13 Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord(A) our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth.(B) 14 The Lord did not hesitate to bring the disaster(C) on us, for the Lord our God is righteous in everything he does;(D) yet we have not obeyed him.(E)
15 “Now, Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand(F) and who made for yourself a name(G) that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong.
