22 And he instructed me and talked with me and said, “Daniel, I have come now to give you insight with (A)understanding. 23 At the (B)beginning of your pleas the [a]command was issued, and I have come to tell you, because you are [b](C)highly esteemed; so pay attention to the message and gain (D)understanding of the vision.

24 “Seventy [c](E)weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to [d]finish the wrongdoing, to [e]make an end of sin, to (F)make atonement for guilt, to bring in (G)everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and [f]prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.

22 He instructed me and said to me, “Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding.(A) 23 As soon as you began to pray,(B) a word went out, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed.(C) Therefore, consider the word and understand the vision:(D)
24 “Seventy ‘sevens’[a] are decreed for your people and your holy city(E) to finish[b] transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone(F) for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness,(G) to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.[c]
