4 After that he had slain [a](A)Sihon the King of the Amorites which dwelt in Heshbon, and Og king of Bashan, which dwelt at Ashtaroth in Edrei.
5 On this side Jordan at the land of Moab [b]began Moses to declare this law, saying,
6 The Lord our God spake unto us in [c]Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount,

4 This was after he had defeated Sihon(A) king of the Amorites,(B) who reigned in Heshbon,(C) and at Edrei had defeated Og(D) king of Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth.(E)
5 East of the Jordan in the territory of Moab,(F) Moses began to expound this law, saying:
6 The Lord our God said to us(G) at Horeb,(H) “You have stayed long enough(I) at this mountain.
