4 after he had (A)struck down Sihon the king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon, and (B)Og the king of Bashan, who lived in (C)Ashtaroth [a]and Edrei. 5 Across the Jordan in the land of Moab, Moses undertook to expound this law, saying,
6 “Yahweh our God (D)spoke to us at Horeb, saying, ‘You have [b]stayed long enough at this mountain.

New International Version

5 East of the Jordan in the territory of Moab,(F) Moses began to expound this law, saying:
