4 This was after he had defeated King Sihon of the Amorites, who ruled in Heshbon, and King Og of Bashan, who ruled in Ashtaroth and[a] in Edrei. 5 The Israelites were east of the Jordan River in Moab when Moses began to review God’s teachings.
Moses Reminds Israel of the Events at Mount Horeb
This is what he said:
6 At Mount Horeb Yahweh our Elohim said to us, “You have stayed at this mountain long enough.

4 This was after he had defeated Sihon(A) king of the Amorites,(B) who reigned in Heshbon,(C) and at Edrei had defeated Og(D) king of Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth.(E)
5 East of the Jordan in the territory of Moab,(F) Moses began to expound this law, saying:
