³¹ For you are about to cross the Jordan to go in to take possession of the land which the Lord your God is giving you, and ^(A)you shall possess it and live in it,

¹⁴ “When you enter the land which the Lord your God is giving you, and you ^(A)take possession of it and live in it, and you say, ‘^(B)I will appoint a king over me like all the nations who are around me,’

^43 (A)So the Lord gave Israel all the land which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and ^(B)they took possession of it and lived in it.
