30 beware lest you be ensnared [a]to follow them, after they are destroyed before you, and lest you inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How do these nations serve their gods, that I also may do likewise?’ 31 (A)You shall not do thus toward Yahweh your God, for every abominable act which Yahweh hates they have done for their gods; for (B)they even burn their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.
32 “[b](C)Whatever I am commanding you, you shall be careful to do; (D)you shall not add to nor take away from it.

30 and after they have been destroyed before you, be careful not to be ensnared(A) by inquiring about their gods, saying, “How do these nations serve their gods? We will do the same.”(B) 31 You must not worship the Lord your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the Lord hates.(C) They even burn their sons(D) and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods.(E)
32 See that you do all I command you; do not add(F) to it or take away from it.[a]
