2 and the sign or the wonder comes true, concerning which he spoke to you, saying, ‘(A)Let us walk after other gods (whom you have not known) and let us serve them,’ 3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams; for Yahweh your God is (B)testing you to find out if (C)you love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 (D)You shall walk after Yahweh your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and (E)cling to Him.

2 and if the sign(A) or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods”(B) (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” 3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet(C) or dreamer.(D) The Lord your God is testing(E) you to find out whether you love(F) him with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 It is the Lord your God you must follow,(G) and him you must revere.(H) Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast(I) to him.
