9 But thou shalt even kill him: [a]thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and then the hands of the people.
10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die (because he hath gone about to thrust thee away from the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: from the house of bondage)
11 (A)That all Israel may hear and fear, and do no more any such wickedness as this among you.

Deuteronomy 13:9-11
New International Version
9 You must certainly put them to death.(A) Your hand(B) must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away(C) from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 11 Then all Israel will hear and be afraid,(D) and no one among you will do such an evil thing again.
