21 “(A)You shall not eat anything which dies of itself. You may give it to the alien who is in your [a]town, so that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner, for you are (B)a holy people to the Lord your God. (C)You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.
22 “You (D)shall surely tithe all the produce from [b]what you sow, which comes out of the field every year. 23 You shall eat in the presence of the Lord your God, (E)at the place where He chooses to establish His name, the tithe of your grain, your new wine, your oil, and the firstborn of your herd and your flock, so that you may (F)learn to fear the Lord your God always.

21 Do not eat anything you find already dead.(A) You may give it to the foreigner residing in any of your towns, and they may eat it, or you may sell it to any other foreigner. But you are a people holy to the Lord your God.(B)

Tithes
22 Be sure to set aside a tenth(D) of all that your fields produce each year. 23 Eat(E) the tithe of your grain, new wine(F) and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name,(G) so that you may learn(H) to revere(I) the Lord your God always.
