Deuteronomy 15:5-7

5 So that thou hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and do all these commandments, which I command thee this day.
6 For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee, as he hath promised thee: and (A)thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou thyself shalt not borrow, and thou shalt reign over many nations, and they shall not reign over thee.
7 ¶ If one of thy brethren with thee be poor [a]within any of thy gates in thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:

5 if only you fully obey the Lord your God and are careful to follow(A) all these commands I am giving you today. 6 For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.(B)
7 If anyone is poor(C) among your fellow Israelites in any of the towns of the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted(D) toward them.
