Deuteronomy 18:12-14

12 For everyone doing these things is detestable to Yahweh, and because of these detestable things Yahweh your God is driving them out from before you.[a] 13 You must be blameless before Yahweh your God. 14 For these nations that you are about to dispossess listen to interpreters of signs[b] and to diviners, but Yahweh your God has not allowed you to do the same.

New International Version

12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you.(A) 13 You must be blameless(B) before the Lord your God.(C)

The Prophet

14 The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination.(D) But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so.
