Deuteronomy 23:6-8
World English Bible

6 You shall not seek their peace nor their prosperity all your days forever. 7 You shall not abhor an Edomite, for he is your brother. You shall not abhor an Egyptian, because you lived as a foreigner in his land. 8 The children of the third generation who are born to them may enter into Yahweh’s assembly.

New International Version

6 Do not seek a treaty(A) of friendship with them as long as you live.(B)

7 Do not despise an Edomite,(C) for the Edomites are related to you.(D) Do not despise an Egyptian, because you resided as foreigners in their country.(E) 8 The third generation of children born to them may enter the assembly of the Lord.
