35 The Lord will punish you with sore boils that cannot be healed. These boils will be on your knees and legs. The boils will be on every part of your body—from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head.
36 “The Lord will send you and your king away to a nation you don’t know. You and your ancestors have never seen that nation. There you will serve false gods made of wood and stone. 37 In the countries where the Lord will send you, the people will be shocked at the terrible things that happen to you. They will laugh at you and say bad things about you.

35 The Lord will afflict your knees and legs with painful boils(A) that cannot be cured, spreading from the soles of your feet to the top of your head.(B)
36 The Lord will drive you and the king(C) you set over you to a nation unknown to you or your ancestors.(D) There you will worship other gods, gods of wood and stone.(E) 37 You will become a thing of horror,(F) a byword(G) and an object of ridicule(H) among all the peoples where the Lord will drive you.(I)
