Deuteronomy 28:37-39

37 In the countries where the Lord will send you, the people will be shocked at the terrible things that happen to you. They will laugh at you and say bad things about you.

38 “Your fields will produce plenty of grain. But your harvest will be small, because the locusts will eat your harvest. 39 You will plant vineyards and work hard in them. But you will not gather the grapes or drink the wine from them, because the worms will eat them.

37 You will become a thing of horror,(A) a byword(B) and an object of ridicule(C) among all the peoples where the Lord will drive you.(D)
38 You will sow much seed in the field but you will harvest little,(E) because locusts(F) will devour(G) it. 39 You will plant vineyards and cultivate them but you will not drink the wine(H) or gather the grapes, because worms will eat(I) them.(J)
