63 Just as the Lord delighted to prosper and increase you, so now the Lord will delight to destroy, exterminate, and banish you from the land that you are about to enter to possess.”
Scattering among the Nations
64 “He’ll[a] scatter you among the nations[b] from one end of the earth to the other,[c] and there you’ll serve other gods made of wood and stones, which neither you nor your ancestors have known. 65 Among those nations you’ll have no rest. There’ll be no resting place for the soles of your feet. Instead, the Lord will give you an anxious heart, failing eyesight, and a despairing spirit.

63 Just as it pleased(A) the Lord to make you prosper and increase in number, so it will please(B) him to ruin and destroy you.(C) You will be uprooted(D) from the land you are entering to possess.
64 Then the Lord will scatter(E) you among all nations,(F) from one end of the earth to the other.(G) There you will worship other gods—gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your ancestors have known.(H) 65 Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place(I) for the sole of your foot. There the Lord will give you an anxious mind, eyes(J) weary with longing, and a despairing heart.(K)
