19 (20) But Adonai will not forgive him. Rather, the anger and jealousy of Adonai will blaze up against that person. Every curse written in this book will be upon him. Adonai will blot out his name from under heaven. 20 (21) Adonai will single him out from all the tribes of Isra’el to experience what is bad in all the curses of the covenant written in this book of the Torah.

19 When such a person hears the words of this oath and they invoke a blessing(A) on themselves, thinking, “I will be safe, even though I persist in going my own way,”(B) they will bring disaster on the watered land as well as the dry. 20 The Lord will never be willing to forgive(C) them; his wrath and zeal(D) will burn(E) against them. All the curses written in this book will fall on them, and the Lord will blot(F) out their names from under heaven. 21 The Lord will single them out from all the tribes of Israel for disaster,(G) according to all the curses of the covenant written in this Book of the Law.(H)
