3 “Then we turned and went up the road to Bashan, and King Og of Bashan(A) came out against us with his whole army to do battle at Edrei.(B) 2 But the Lord said to me, ‘Do not fear him, for I have handed him over to you along with his whole army and his land. Do to him as you did to King Sihon of the Amorites,(C) who lived in Heshbon.’ 3 So the Lord our God also handed over King Og of Bashan and his whole army to us. We struck him until there was no survivor left.(D)

Defeat of Og King of Bashan
3 Next we turned and went up along the road toward Bashan, and Og king of Bashan(A) with his whole army marched out to meet us in battle at Edrei.(B) 2 The Lord said to me, “Do not be afraid(C) of him, for I have delivered him into your hands, along with his whole army and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon.”
3 So the Lord our God also gave into our hands Og king of Bashan and all his army. We struck them down,(D) leaving no survivors.(E)
