26 But the Lord was angry with me on your account and would not heed me. The Lord said to me, ‘Enough from you! Never speak to me of this matter again!(A) 27 Go up to the top of Pisgah and look around you to the west, to the north, to the south, and to the east. Look well, for you shall not cross over this Jordan.(B) 28 But charge Joshua and encourage and strengthen him, because it is he who shall cross over at the head of this people and who shall secure their possession of the land that you will see.’(C)

26 But because of you the Lord was angry(A) with me and would not listen to me. “That is enough,” the Lord said. “Do not speak to me anymore about this matter. 27 Go up to the top of Pisgah(B) and look west and north and south and east.(C) Look at the land with your own eyes, since you are not going to cross(D) this Jordan.(E) 28 But commission(F) Joshua, and encourage(G) and strengthen him, for he will lead this people across(H) and will cause them to inherit the land that you will see.”
