27 Climb to the top of Mount Pisgah. Look west, north, south and east. You can look at the land. But you will not cross the Jordan River. 28 Appoint Joshua. Help him be brave and strong. He will lead the people across the river. He will give them the land that they are to inherit. You can only look at it.” 29 So we stayed in the valley opposite Beth Peor.

27 Go up to the top of Pisgah(A) and look west and north and south and east.(B) Look at the land with your own eyes, since you are not going to cross(C) this Jordan.(D) 28 But commission(E) Joshua, and encourage(F) and strengthen him, for he will lead this people across(G) and will cause them to inherit the land that you will see.” 29 So we stayed in the valley near Beth Peor.(H)
