8 “So at that time we took from the two kings of the Amorites the land beyond the Jordan, from the Wadi Arnon to Mount Hermon 9 (the Sidonians call Hermon Sirion, while the Amorites call it Senir),(A) 10 all the towns of the tableland, the whole of Gilead, and all of Bashan, as far as Salecah and Edrei, towns of Og’s kingdom in Bashan.

8 So at that time we took from these two kings of the Amorites(A) the territory east of the Jordan, from the Arnon Gorge as far as Mount Hermon.(B) 9 (Hermon is called Sirion(C) by the Sidonians; the Amorites call it Senir.)(D) 10 We took all the towns on the plateau, and all Gilead, and all Bashan as far as Salekah(E) and Edrei, towns of Og’s kingdom in Bashan.
