13 And you can't say, “How can we obey the Lord's commands? They are across the sea, and someone must go across, then bring them back and explain them to us.” 14 No, these commands are nearby and you know them by heart. All you have to do is obey!
15 (A) Today I am giving you a choice. You can choose life and success or death and disaster.

13 Nor is it beyond the sea,(A) so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”(B) 14 No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.(C)
15 See, I set before you today life(D) and prosperity,(E) death(F) and destruction.(G)
