2 Then you and your children will return to the Lord your God, and you will ·obey him [listen to his voice] with ·your whole being [L all your heart/mind and all your soul] in everything I am commanding you today. 3 Then the Lord your God will ·give you back your freedom [restore your fortunes]. New International Version
2 and when you and your children return(A) to the Lord your God and obey him with all your heart(B) and with all your soul according to everything I command you today, 3 then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes[a](C) and have compassion(D) on you and gather(E) you again from all the nations where he scattered(F) you.(G) 4 Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens,(H) from there the Lord your God will gather(I) you and bring you back.(J)
