Deuteronomy 31:20-22
Modern English Version
20 For when I have brought them into the land which I swore to their fathers, flowing with milk and honey, and they have eaten, and filled themselves, and become fat, then they will turn to other gods, and serve them, and provoke Me, and break My covenant. 21 Then when many disasters and troubles have fallen on them, this song will testify against them as a witness, for it must not be forgotten from the mouths of their descendants. For I know their intention which they are developing even now, before I have brought them into the land which I promised.” 22 Therefore, Moses wrote this song the same day, and taught it to the children of Israel.

New International Version
20 When I have brought them into the land flowing with milk and honey, the land I promised on oath to their ancestors,(A) and when they eat their fill and thrive, they will turn to other gods(B) and worship them,(C) rejecting me and breaking my covenant.(D) 21 And when many disasters and calamities come on them,(E) this song will testify against them, because it will not be forgotten by their descendants. I know what they are disposed to do,(F) even before I bring them into the land I promised them on oath.” 22 So Moses wrote(G) down this song that day and taught it to the Israelites.
