20 (A)For when I bring them into the land flowing with milk and honey, which I swore to their fathers, and they have eaten and are satisfied and (B)become [a]prosperous, then they will turn to other gods and serve them, and spurn Me and break My covenant. 21 Then it shall come about, (C)when many evils and troubles have come upon them, that this song will testify before them as a witness (for it shall not be forgotten from the [b]lips of their descendants); for (D)I know their intent which they are [c]developing today, before I have brought them into the land which I swore.” 22 (E)So Moses wrote this song the same day, and taught it to the sons of Israel.

20 When I have brought them into the land flowing with milk and honey, the land I promised on oath to their ancestors,(A) and when they eat their fill and thrive, they will turn to other gods(B) and worship them,(C) rejecting me and breaking my covenant.(D) 21 And when many disasters and calamities come on them,(E) this song will testify against them, because it will not be forgotten by their descendants. I know what they are disposed to do,(F) even before I bring them into the land I promised them on oath.” 22 So Moses wrote(G) down this song that day and taught it to the Israelites.
