5 Adonai will defeat them ahead of you, and you are to do to them just as I have ordered you to do. 6 Be strong, be bold, don’t be afraid or frightened of them, for Adonai your God is going with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”

5 The Lord will deliver(A) them to you, and you must do to them all that I have commanded you. 6 Be strong and courageous.(B) Do not be afraid or terrified(C) because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you;(D) he will never leave you(E) nor forsake(F) you.”
7 Then Moses summoned Joshua and said(G) to him in the presence of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the Lord swore to their ancestors to give them,(H) and you must divide it among them as their inheritance.
