¹⁸^(A)Of the Rock who begot you, you are unmindful,
And have ^(B)forgotten the God who fathered you.

New International Version

¹⁸You deserted the Rock, who fathered you;
you forgot^(A) the God who gave you birth.

⁷So the children of Israel did ^(A)evil in the sight of the Lord. They ^(B)forgot the Lord their God, and served the Baals and ^[a]Asherahs.

⁷The Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord; they forgot the Lord^(A) their God and served the Baals and the Asherahs.^(B)
