46 and he said unto them, Set your heart unto all the words which I testify unto you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, even all the words of this law. 47 For it is no vain thing for you; because it is your life, and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over the Jordan to possess it.
48 And Jehovah spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying,

46 he said to them, “Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day,(A) so that you may command(B) your children to obey carefully all the words of this law. 47 They are not just idle words for you—they are your life.(C) By them you will live long(D) in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”
