^(C)And he dwells between His shoulders.”

² It is in vain that you rise up early,
That you sit out late,
O you who ^(A)eat the bread of ^[a]painful labors;
For in this manner, He gives ^(B)sleep to His ^(C)beloved.

5 Let me sing now for my well-beloved
A song of my beloved concerning His vineyard.
My well-beloved had a ^(A)vineyard on ^[a]a fertile hill.

¹⁵ What possession has My ^(A)beloved in My house
When ^(B)she has done many schemes of wickedness?
Can the flesh, which is set apart as holy, take away from you your calamity,
^[a]So that you can exult?”
