3 He showed Moses the Negev and the valley that goes from Zoar to Jericho, the city of palm trees. 4 The Lord said to Moses, “This is the land I promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I said to them, ‘I will give this land to your descendants. I have let you see the land, but you cannot go there.’”
5 Then Moses, the Lord’s servant, died there in the land of Moab. The Lord had told Moses this would happen.

3 the Negev(A) and the whole region from the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms,(B) as far as Zoar.(C) 4 Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land I promised on oath(D) to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob(E) when I said, ‘I will give it(F) to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross(G) over into it.”
5 And Moses the servant of the Lord(H) died(I) there in Moab, as the Lord had said.
