Deuteronomy 34:3-5
The Voice
3 the southern desert,[a] and the basin in the valley of Jericho, the “city of palms,” as far as Zoar.
Eternal One (to Moses): 4 This is the land I promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when I told them, “I’ll give it to your descendants.” I’ve let you see it, even though you won’t be going into it.
God Himself buried Moses, with no grave and no monument that the Israelites could use to create another idol for worship.
5 So Moses, the Eternal’s servant, died there in the land of Moab, just as the Eternal had said.

3 the Negev(A) and the whole region from the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms,(B) as far as Zoar.(C) 4 Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land I promised on oath(D) to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob(E) when I said, ‘I will give it(F) to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross(G) over into it.”
5 And Moses the servant of the Lord(H) died(I) there in Moab, as the Lord had said.
