7 Although Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, his eyesight was not dim, nor his natural strength abated.(A) 8 So the sons of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab for thirty days; then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
9 Now Joshua the son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the sons of Israel listened to him and did as the Lord commanded Moses.

7 Moses was a hundred and twenty years old(A) when he died, yet his eyes were not weak(B) nor his strength gone.(C) 8 The Israelites grieved for Moses in the plains of Moab(D) thirty days,(E) until the time of weeping and mourning(F) was over.
9 Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit[a] of wisdom(G) because Moses had laid his hands on him.(H) So the Israelites listened to him and did what the Lord had commanded Moses.
