15 The Lord will keep you from getting sick. He won’t send on you any of the horrible sicknesses you saw all around you in Egypt. But he’ll send them on everyone who hates you. 16 You must destroy all the nations the Lord your God hands over to you. Don’t feel sorry for them. Don’t serve their gods. If you do, they will be a trap for you.
17 You might say to yourselves, “These nations are stronger than we are. How can we drive them out?”

Deuteronomy 7:15-17
New International Version
15 The Lord will keep you free from every disease.(A) He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you knew in Egypt,(B) but he will inflict them on all who hate you.(C) 16 You must destroy all the peoples the Lord your God gives over to you.(D) Do not look on them with pity(E) and do not serve their gods,(F) for that will be a snare(G) to you.
17 You may say to yourselves, “These nations are stronger than we are. How can we drive them out?(H)”
