⁸ but because Yahweh loved you and kept the ^(A)oath which He swore to your fathers, ^(B)Yahweh brought you out with a strong hand and redeemed you from the house of ^[a]slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. ⁹ You shall know therefore that Yahweh your God, ^(C)He is God, ^(D)the faithful God, ^(E)who keeps ^[b]His covenant and ^[c]His lovingkindness to a thousand generations with those who ^(F)love Him and keep His commandments; ¹⁰ but ^(G)repays those who hate Him to ^[d]their faces, to make ^[e]them perish; He will not delay ^[f]with him who hates Him, He will repay him to his face.
