Living Bible
8 It was just because he loves you, and because he kept his promise to your ancestors. That is why he brought you out of slavery in Egypt with such amazing power and mighty miracles.
9 “Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is the faithful God who for a thousand generations keeps his promises and constantly loves those who love him and who obey his commands. 10 But those who hate him shall be punished publicly and destroyed. He will deal with them personally.

8 But it was because the Lord loved(A) you and kept the oath he swore(B) to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand(C) and redeemed(D) you from the land of slavery,(E) from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God;(F) he is the faithful God,(G) keeping his covenant of love(H) to a thousand generations(I) of those who love him and keep his commandments.(J) 10 But
those who hate him he will repay to their face by destruction;
he will not be slow to repay to their face those who hate him.(K)
