10 (A)Then the Lord delivered me two tables of stone, written with the [a]finger of God, and in them was contained according to all the words which the Lord had said unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire, in the day of the assembly.

11 And when the forty days and forty nights were ended, the Lord gave me the two tables of stone, the tables, I say, of the covenant.

12 And the Lord said unto me, (B)Arise, get thee down quickly from hence: for thy people which thou hast brought out of Egypt, have [b]corrupt their ways: they are soon turned out of the way which I commanded them, they have made them a molten image.

11 At the end of the forty days and forty nights,(C) the Lord gave me the two stone tablets,(D) the tablets of the covenant. 12 Then the Lord told me, “Go down from here at once, because your people whom you brought out of Egypt have become corrupt.(E) They have turned away quickly(F) from what I commanded them and have made an idol for themselves.”
