The Reading of the Law

⁹ Then Moses ^(A)wrote this law and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, ^(B)who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel.

²⁶ “Take this Book of the Law ^(A)and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for ^(B)a witness against you.

Hilkiah Finds the Book of the Law

⁸ And Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the secretary, “I have found ^(A)the Book of the Law in the house of the Lord.” And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

¹⁴ While they were bringing out the money that had been brought into the house of the Lord, ^(A)Hilkiah the priest found the Book of the Law of the Lord given through Moses.
