Ecclesiastes 3:13-15

¹³And when we eat and drink and find satisfaction in all our labors, this is a gift of God.

¹⁴I know that whatever God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it or subtracted from it. God has done this so that everyone will be in awe standing in his presence.

¹⁵Whatever is now has already been,
that which is to come already is,
and God will restore whatever might be displaced.

¹³That each of them may eat and drink,^(A) and find satisfaction^(B) in all their toil—this is the gift of God.^(C) ¹⁴I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.^(D)

and what will be has been before;^(F)
and God will call the past to account.^[a]
