¹⁸Keep to the middle of the road. You can do this if you truly respect God.

¹⁹Wisdom will make you stronger than the ten most powerful leaders in your city.

²⁰No one in this world always does right.

Ecclesiastes 7:18-20

New International Version

¹⁸It is good to grasp the one
and not let go of the other.
Whoever fears God^(A) will avoid all extremes.^[a]

¹⁹Wisdom^(B) makes one wise person more powerful^(C)
than ten rulers in a city.

²⁰Indeed, there is no one on earth who is righteous,^(D)
no one who does what is right and never sins.^(E)
